One of my favourite spots in Fundy National Park is Point Wolf Beach. Just before crossing the Point Wolf covered bridge, be sure to stop at the Red Chairs and enjoy the view. FUN FACT: There are about 60 covered bridges in New Brunswick. This one was built in 1992 and is 29m long. Arriving in the parking lot there are a few trail choices.

This campground provides a simplified frontcountry camping experience with a combination of unserviced and serviced sites with fire pits; Point Wolfe is in the heart of some of Fundy's most spectacular coastal wilderness. You have to cross the Point Wolfe covered bridge to access this campground. Truly enchanting!

A great place to experience the world's highest tides is at Fundy National Park's Point Wolfe Beach. The moderate 11.2-kilometer round-trip trail leads from a parking lot through forest to the rocky beach. Arrive at low tide, and you can walk on the ocean floor. Some areas are muddy, but you can easily walk on the stones or climb on rocks.

Dec 2022. The parking lot is huge compared to the beach, but the quiet waters offer a peaceful setting overlooking the river/Bay. While today was too cold for swimming, hiking, or picnics, those facilities await warmer weather. Enjoyed watching someone bring his dog for a little escape, and the dog had fun running up and down the sand.

This trail has great views of Point Wolfe River as it meets the bay, and interpretive signs with information about the cultural and natural history of the Point Wolfe area.
